Opportunities in our local team

As our clients’ needs change,
our team grows with them.

New clients join us, existing clients’ needs evolve, and some parts of the day are especially busy. That means opportunities arise regularly for people who want to provide thoughtful, dependable support.

We are particularly keen to hear from people interested in part-time work, especially those available in the mornings and/or evenings, when many clients need support to start or finish their day.

Looking for full-time work? We would like to hear from you too. Tell us about your availability and the hours you are looking for, and we can discuss what may be suitable.

This is an invitation to register your interest. Available roles and hours depend on our clients’ needs.

What you’ll bring

A positive presence.
Support people can rely on.

We’re looking for warm, engaging people who thrive on helping others. A friendly conversation, a little encouragement or a shared laugh can brighten someone’s day alongside the practical care they need.

Knowing when to bring a little energy and when to offer quiet reassurance matters too. Each client’s personality, preferences and dignity come first.

Explore the support we provide

A full UK driving licence and your own car

Both are essential for this role. You will need to travel between clients’ homes and have access to your own car for work. Mileage is paid.

Knowledge of Preston and South Ribble is a bonus, not a requirement. Familiarity with the area helps you find your way to clients and build rapport through shared local knowledge.

Independent, but part of a team

You must be comfortable working independently, using good judgement and taking responsibility for your visits. Being a good team player is just as important: communicating clearly, sharing updates and knowing when to ask for support.

Flexible when life changes

Care does not always follow a nine-to-five routine. Clients’ needs can change and unexpected situations or emergencies sometimes mean schedules need to adjust. We need people who can adapt, work with the team and keep clients’ wellbeing at the heart of what they do.

Tell us about your availability and commitments so we can discuss the working pattern and flexibility the role involves.

Experience welcomed. Training provided.

Experience in care is preferred, but it is not always essential. If you have the right approach and a willingness to learn, we would welcome a conversation. Training will be provided for your role.
