Support shaped around you

Everyday life.
A little more possible.

01 / A COMFORTABLE HOME

A helping hand
around the house.

It might be a freshly made bed, a clear kitchen or the job that has become difficult to manage. We take care of the practical things that make home feel like home.

  • Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
  • Vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins
  • Changing bedding and basic laundry support
  • Sorting cupboards, light household tasks and errands

02 / PERSONAL CARE

Feeling comfortable.
Feeling yourself.

Personal care is personal. We listen, agree what help you want and support you to do as much as you choose for yourself, privately and respectfully.

  • Help with washing, showering, toileting and general personal hygiene
  • Dressing and getting ready for the day
  • Support with familiar daily routines
  • Extra help during recovery, where available

Personal care is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

03 / MEALS & SHOPPING

Good food.
Your favourite things.

A familiar meal, a well-stocked fridge or fish and chips on a Friday. We can help with the shopping and preparation, so eating well feels easier.

  • Grocery shopping with you or for you
  • Preparing simple, familiar meals
  • Putting food away and collecting essentials
  • Takeaway and fish and chips delivery by arrangement

04 / COMPANY & CONNECTION

Familiar faces.
Shared moments.

A conversation at home. A visit to friends. Getting back to a favourite activity. We support adults of different ages to stay connected in their own way.

  • Friendly company at home or out and about
  • Help getting to clubs, hobbies and social activities
  • Shopping, prescription collections and errands
  • Support that respects your routines and energy

05 / ACCESSIBLE TRANSPORT

More places.
More possibilities.

Getting to an appointment can mean much more than the drive. Our wheelchair-accessible vehicle brings familiar, personal support to the whole journey, exclusively for Help to Live clients. It is not an accessible taxi service.

  • A wheelchair-accessible vehicle with ramp access
  • Help getting ready and travelling to appointments or dementia day services (day centres)
  • Company at the destination, where agreed
  • Support returning home and settling back in

A flexible approach

What would help you?

Regular visits, short-term support or a little help now and then. There is no standard package: we listen, agree what matters, and plan together.

Can visits cover more than one task?

Yes. A visit might combine meal preparation, light housekeeping and an errand, depending on the agreed time and support plan.

Do you offer short-term support after surgery?

Where capacity allows, support can be increased temporarily during recovery and adjusted again as independence returns.

Do you work with family members?

With the client's consent, we can keep appropriate family members involved and communicate about agreed arrangements.

What if the help I need is not listed?

Please ask. If we cannot help safely or appropriately, we will be honest and try to point you towards someone who can.

Not sure what to ask for?

Tell us what is becoming difficult—we can talk through the options.
